Request for Supplier Qualifications for Ramsden Park Community Recreation Centre Design Competition Stage 1 RSFQ Architect. The new building will be accessible and net zero emissions. just steps away from the Rosedale Subway Station. The facility will front Ramsden park to the north and Budd Sugarman Park to the east and is proposed to include a 25-metre lane pool, a leisure pool, a gymnasium with a running track, and multi-se activity spaces. TIMELINE: Request for Supplier Qualifications for an architect has been closed. The following 5 design teams have short-listed: -CxA Architectes Paysagistes with gh3 (Montreal and Toronto); -Daoust Lestage (Montreal); -MJMA alongside Hapa Collaborative (Toronto and Vancouver); -Nippaysage with Saucier + Perrotte (Montreal); -PMA with Henning Larsen (Toronto and Copenhagen). For Stage II, these teams will develop and present conceptual designs for consideration and community consultation, expected summer 2026. Detailed designs would proceed through 2027. Construction start is currently targeted spring 2028. *Construction cost has yet to be finalized.
