The Town of Strasburg is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2025 Concrete Repairs Project, which will improve pedestrian and vehicular safety by replacing damaged sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, and upgrading ADA ramps at multiple locations throughout town. The project includes demolition and disposal of existing materials, installation of new concrete sidewalks and curb & gutter, detectable warning surfaces at ADA ramps, installation of a tree well on S. Holiday Street, traffic control, and complete site restoration. Work must meet all VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications and ADA accessibility standards. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 1. Contractor shall provide the equipment, labor, materials, and services necessary to make concrete repairs in various locations within the town and to properly dispose of all materials in accordance with existing federal, state, and local laws, codes, and ordinances and regulations. Concrete repairs will consist of removing existing concrete and placing new concrete to remove differential settlement and breaking. The work includes sidewalks, curbing, curb and gutter, handicapped ramps, and traffic control. 2.
