Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lindsborg, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The Lindsborg Housing Authority (LHA) is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor and materials for the roofing modernizations at these four, 2-story apartment buildings, in Lindsborg, KS. The general scope of work includes, removal of the existing roof systems, misc. roof deck repairs, roof accessories, new roofing system, and other items as shown on the drawings, and as specified for a complete and working installation. If you aren't able to have your proposal in to the Owner by 9/15/25, please call Marc Anderson to see if he can offer an extension. This is not a formal bidding procedure so the Owner can use their discretion regarding the procurement. Scope of Work a) Roofing Modernizations i) Remove the existing roofing system down to the wood deck. The existing gutters and downspouts are to remain. ii) Inspect the wood deck for damage and notify the Owner if any is found. If damage is found, the Owner and Contractor shall document the extent of the repairs (SF total) so the repairs can be covered by a change order. iii) Cut in new roof vents to work with new vents and vent locations shown. Repair deck if new vent locations don't match existing. iv) Install new underlayment and roof accessories v) Install new composition shingle roofing vi) Clean out gutters if left in place, or replace gutters. Make certain that gutter apron flashes over the back leg of the gutter. vii) Clean up the project site, repair any damage to yards or paving if needed. viii) Other items as shown on the plans and as specified herein If the Contractor would like to receive progress payments during the work, the Owner will require some form of assurance of completion. Suitable forms of assurance could be one of the following: i) 100% performance and payment bonds. ii) 20% cash escrow in the form of a cashier's check. iii) 25% irrevocable letter of credit. Printed plans are available as follows: RFP respondents are welcome to send this .pdf file and the plan .pdf file to their own printer and are welcome to print these plans themselves. Please note that the drawings are formatted to print on 24" x 36" paper. If you print on smaller paper do not scale the drawings.
