Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Lindsborg, Kansas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a two-story above grade multi-residential development.
The Lindsborg Housing Authority is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor and materials for bathroom modernizations at selected 2-story apartment buildings in Lindsborg, KS. The general scope of work includes replacement of bathroom showers, removal of existing bathroom windows, miscellaneous repairs, siding, painting, and other items as shown on the drawings and as specified for a complete and working installation. Interested parties must visit the site and inspect the work prior to submitting a proposal. a) Bathroom Modernizations i) Remove the existing tubs and shower surrounds, shower mixing valves, controls, shower rods/curtain hooks and other items as indicated. ii) Remove the window and siding as shown on the drawings. iii) Inspect the wood sheathing and framing for damage and notify the owner to get approval for repairs. iv) Infill old window opening and repair exterior siding. v) Install new tub/shower as shown on the drawings, vi) Paint walls of the bathroom vii) Clean up the project site, repair any damage to yards or paving if needed. viii) Other items as shown on the plans and as specified herein. A general description of the work to be completed under this contract shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following: 1. Remove and replace the supply grilles in each bathroom WARRANTY The Mechanical Contractor shall warranty all work, material and equipment that are a part of this contract for a period of one frill year after date of final acceptance by Owner. All repairs and/or replacements shall be the responsibility of the Mechanical Contractor with no cost to the Owner. BASIC MATERIALS AND METHODS All materials used shall be new, of the best quality normally used for the purpose in accordance with good commercial practice and shall be the products of reputable manufacturers. All work shall be performed by skilled craftsmen in a thorough and workmanlike manner.
