Renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,528-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and laboratory facility.

This project has participations goals for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (SDVE) as follows: 10% MBE, 10% WBE and 3% SDVE. Please see the Information for Bidders and General Conditions for additional information about the MBE/WBE/SDVE Participation Goals. CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE: $910,800 - $1,012,000 LOCATION a. Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Missouri – Columbia, at the Agriculture Engineering Building on the first floor. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. SCOPE OF WORK a. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on the Drawings and specified . Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. c. General Description of Work: (1) Project consists of renovation of rooms 166A and 168 on the first floor of the Agriculture Engineering Building. (2) Demolition shall consist of removal of concrete slab on grade, doors, standalone metal structures, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing items within the work area. (3) Architectural work shall consist of new flooring finishes, wall paneling, painting, doors and masonry infill. (4) Structural work shall consist of new concrete slab on grade sloping to new floor drains and concrete equipment pads. (5) Mechanical and Plumbing work shall consist of changes to ductwork, below grade drains and piping serving owner provided equipment. Contractor shall install and connect Owner furnished equipment, including large and small fermentation tanks, brew tanks, still, HTST and retort packaging equipment. (6) Electrical work shall consist of new lighting, data and power serving owner provided equipment.
