This solicitation is to establish a contract to furnish Elevator Maintenance and Repair Service for the Department of Corrections (DOC), Prison Enterprises (PE). The contract shall be effective for a period beginning with the date of award and ending June 30. 2026. At the option of the State of Louisiana and acceptance by the Contractor, the contract may be extended for two additional 12 month periods at the same prices, terms and conditions. Total contract time may not exceed 36 months. For all projects in the amount of $50,000 or more, bids shall be accepted from Bidders who are licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of: Specialty: Elevators, Dumbwaiters. Attachment E - Contractor's License Certification Form should be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with this requirement may cause your bid to be rejected. In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2165.C, anyone objecting to the above classification(s) must send a certified letter to both the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Office of State Procurement. The letter must be received no later than 10 working days prior to the day on which the bid is to be opened.
