The work consists generally of cutting trees and other woodygrowth, at ground level, on thebanks and top of bank of Ditch 12.All trees and debris must be removed from site. The Ditch conveys stormwater to the City’sStormwater Pumping Station andtrees and woody debris can clog and damage the pumps. Ditch 12is approximately 1.25 miles inlength and the trees and woodygrowth needs to be removed from both sides of the ditch. All Bidders must be licensedcontractors to perform the type ofwork specified in the bid as required by the State of Arkansas. The West Memphis Utilities reserves the right to waive irregularities; to reject bids in its solediscretion for any reason; to postpone the award of the contract for a period that shall not exceed beyond 60 days from the bid opening date.
