Telephone inquiries will not be accepted The County of York, Virginia (Owner) is seeking the services of a professional contractor to furnish/provide remediation of drainage easements within the Queens Lake community The project requires the remediation of five (5) drainage ravines within the Queens Lake subdivision. The clear cutting of trees on all five (5) sites will be the first task, to ensure compliance with clearing limits mandated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The sites will then be regraded and cleared of obstructions, with stone structures being installed to dissipate energy from stormwater drainage. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and supplies required and necessary for the proper completion of the work whether each necessary item is mentioned herein or not. The Contractor shall provide all services for the work and the removal of rubble and debris to an appropriate disposal area. Substantial Completion: 360 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for construction. Liquidated Damages: $200 per calendar day after time for Substantial Completion has expired. Final Completion: 450 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for construction. Liquidated Damages: An additional $100 per calendar day after time for Final Completion has expired
