A Summary of the Work Items is Included Below: \b Installation of a 24-inch Hdpe Water Transmission Main by Directional Drilling Along Fairhope Avenue From County Road 13, East to Fairhope Water Treatment Plant No. 2, and From County Road 13, West to Fairhope Water Treatment Plant No. 1. \b Ductile Iron Pipe Connections to the Existing System, as Well as Transitions From Hdpe to Ductile Iron Pipe at Bore Pits Will Be Required. A Cashiers Check or Bid Bond Payable to City of Fairhope in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidders Proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and Evidence of Insurance Required in the Bid Documents Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Technical Errors if, in the Owners Judgment, the Best Interest of the Owner Will Thereby Be Promoted. Question Deadline 09/09/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Questions or comments pertaining to this ITB must be sent to the Purchasing Manager, Erin Wolfe, forty-eight (48) hours prior to the ITB opening or will be forever waived. If the RFQ / ITB /RFP or other form of solicitation requires a mandatory site visit, bidders must inspect the site where installation or service is to take place to obtain a full understanding of scope of work outlined therein. Date of site visit will be determined by the City of Fairhope
