The Lackawanna Trail School District (LTSD) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to concrete wall, exit ramp and sidewalks at its Junior Senior High School, according to the specifications contained in the High School Music Wing Exterior Request for Proposal (RFP) Any questions related to the proposal should be forwarded in writing to Mr. Keith Glynn, Business Manager, glynnk @ltsd.org. Question Deadline 08/27/2025 SCOPE OF PROJECT This section describes the project the District intends to have completed between September 15, 2025 and November 30, 2025. LTSD isinterested in contracting with a qualified contractor, or contractors, who have the required expertise and resourcesto provide walkways,stairs and an ADA compliant ramp for its Music Wing entrance at the Junior Senior High School. This scope of work should include the: o Base project o Excavation and offsite removal of existing concrete in work area as indicated by the District (District has location for clean fill and dump truck. District will take clean fill to local site). o Existing doors remain. o New concrete landing and stairs at entrance along with ADA Compliant metal railing system. o New concrete landing to match existing at cafeteria exist and bottom of first stairs. o 37-foot length by 4-foot wide ADA compliant ramp attached to concrete walkway to tie to existing elevation on gymnasium entrance walkway. o New concrete walkway and stairs that connect to parking lot inclusive of ADA compliant metal railing system. o Existing grade to remain; regrade and reseed as needed. o Gravel areas between school building walls and new stairs and ramp. Deduct Alternate #11. Saw cut existing concrete at edge of concrete pad by cafeteria entrance doors. 2. Remove existing stair and landing at music wing doors. 3. Power wash existing concrete pads and walkways. 4. Construct ADA complaint new ramp, stairs and railing system. Deduct Alternate #2 1. Backfill, grading and seeding to be completed by owner. 2.
