This project consists of replacement of the outdoor closed circuit fluid cooler at the Estill County Courthouse. The trades involved include, but are not limited to, the following: demolition, mechanical piping, pipe insulation, electrical, water treatment, testing and balancing, and building automation system. A certified check made payable to the Estill County Fiscal Court, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish and pay for Satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds shall be executed by a Surety Company possessing an A.M. Best Company rating of A- or better and which holds a Certificate of Authority issued by the Department of Treasury and shall be listed as an acceptable surety in the Circular; published annually as of July 1 and licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time for the receipt of bids. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. In the roles defined by the General Conditions as "Owner" and as used throughout the Contract Documents as the Owner of the work being constructed, is the County of Estill County. The Commonwealth of Kentucky, acting through the Administrative Office of the Courts, also occupies the building and provides partial funding for the work. The Estill County Fiscal Court shall reserve the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to bidders. Any bid that is not submitted in the proper form will not be considered.
