Site work for a civil project in Dakota City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Site Directions: 3 miles north and 1/2 mile west of Rutland, Iowa. Est. Value Notes: Estimated construction cost of Base Bid Est. Completion Date: Feb. 27, 2026 consists generally of furnishing and installing approximately 3,426 linear feet (LF) of 36" diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), 1,905 LF of 30" diameter RCP, 905 LF of 24" diameter RCP, 49 LF of 18" diameter RCP, 47 LF of 12" diameter RCP, and structures and connections to complete the work. Also includes removal and construction of concrete headwall into box culvert, and two open cut crossings of gravel roads. Bid alternate includes dual-wall high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe as an alternative to RCP. Pipe installed in road rights-of-way will be RCP for Base Bid and Bid Alternate. Question Deadline 08/29/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
