Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary for the replacement of the existing approach at Clive City Hall and the Public Library. Project items include drive and parking lot pavement, sidewalk, traffic control, restoration, and associated work. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10)percent of the total bid amount. Work on the improvements associated with the closure of vehicular access City Hall and Public Library at 1900 NW 114th Street shall commence on Friday, September 26, 2025 and shall be substantially completed by 8:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Substantial completion shall include reestablishing full-width paved access for vehicles both entering and existing the site. Final completion of all other remaining work items not impacting access to the site shall follow by Friday, October 17, 2025. Access to public services will be disrupted during this closure. Therefore, it is imperative to restore two-way vehicular access to the site by the specified date. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
