Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bid Package 1: Site Grading and Utilities Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on the improvements shall commence on or before the late start date of June 15, 2()25, and shall be completed by May 29, 2026. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (IO) percent of the total bid amount. General Nature of Public Improvement. This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to construct full depth PCC patches on various residential streets south of Hickman Road and west of NW 142nd Street in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full-depth patching, fixture adjustments, traffic control, mobilization, and restoration. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications.
