Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on the improvements shall commence on or before the late start date of July 6, 2025 and shall be completed by August 15, 2025. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to construct full depth PCC patches on Berkshire Parkway and University Avenue in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full-depth patching, sidewalk removal and replacement, fixture adjustments, traffic control, mobilization and restoration. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications.
