Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on the improvements shall be completed by September 30, 2025. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to construct HMA overlays on NW 138th Street and Lake Pointe Drive in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full depth patching, milling, HMA overlay, intake repair, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, fixture adjustments, traffic control, and restoration. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall. be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications.
