Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to construct full-depth PCC patches and an HMA overlay on a short section of the northbound lanes on NW 86th Street in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full-depth PCC patching, HMA overlay, temporary traffic control and the removal and replacement of the following items: sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter, and medians. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. Work on the improvements shall commence on or before the late start date of October 6, 2025 and shall be completed within 20 (20) working days thereafter. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids
