PWC is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of approximately 300 relays for use as a compatible component within a "recloser package," consisting of a recloser, bypass switch assembly, a protection relay, and an Ethernet switch. These packages will support the installation of automated protection equipment along PWC's electric distribution system as part of its Demand Reduction and Reliability Improvement Initiative. Deployment is planned over a three-year period from the project start date, with installations expected to proceed at a pace of approximately 50 packages per quarter once deployment begins. Quantities are grant project estimates only and may be ordered in phases over the contract term. This project is anticipated to be partially funded through a federal grant and is subject to all applicable federal grant requirements. Enclosed are the Instructions to Bidders, Material Specifications, and Bid Pricing Form. Bidders must submit the provided Attachments and any required addendum acknowledgments. Submissions must be made using the provided forms or exact copies thereof, as specified in the bid documents. Questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the attention of Leticia Gilmore, at procurement@faypwc.com no later than 5:00 p.m., EST on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in order to be considered for a response. The outside of the envelope must be marked IFB: PWC2526018 INVENTORY - RELAY, ELECTRONIC, DISTRIBUTION FEEDER PROTECTION and shall indicate the name, and address of the bidder.
