**As of October 1, 2025, the project was awarded to Puget Paving & Constructions, Inc., with an awarded amount of $54,536.73.** The City of Tacoma (City) - Tacoma Venues and Events Department is seeking a qualified vendor to perform asphalt maintenance services, including sealcoating and minor asphalt repairs, around the Tacoma Dome. The selected contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations. Each bid for construction must be accompanied either by a certified or cashier's check for 5 percent of the total amount bid, including tax, payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond, by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Washington, for 5 percent of the total amount bid. The person legally authorized to sign the bid must sign all bid bonds. The approved bid bond form attached to these Specifications should be used: no substantial variations from the language thereof will be accepted. The City reserves the right to cancel the contract for any reason, by written notice, as stipulated in the contract. If a payment and performance bond is stated herein, the required bond including power of attorney, will be 100 percent of the Contract total and is subject to the following requirements.
