Reference Number 0000399898 Bid Intent Not Available Purchase Type: Duration: 1 year Option: 4 Introduction On behalf of the State of Colorado, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bid for various Generators, various uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and equipment and electrical support services for ITS Node buildings and Data Centers. CDOT is requesting bids for performing periodic routine preventive maintenance and repairs (including emergency response) of all Generator, UPS, natural gas and electrical support at Node Buildings. The contractor will report monthly on each Node building's electrical and electrical back up systems status and all work performed over the previous month's period. Routine and preventative maintenance should be performed twice yearly in the Spring and Fall at each location. For the purpose of this document all electrical services at Node buildings and data centers will include all items necessary to provide a back-up power service to all critical infrastructure at each node building and data center, so that there is never an interruption in power being supplied from the generator, or in the event of a power outage or interruption from the primary electrical service provider. The contractor will be responsible for initially inspecting all Generator, UPS, natural gas, and electrical units at the specified locations and providing a written inspection report. The contractor will inspect all equipment for defective units or parts prior to beginning routine preventive maintenance. A working inventory list will then be developed for all the back-up electrical equipment and infrastructure at each location. Once costs and timeframes to complete work are approved by CDOT, repairs and replacement parts will be provided and may be installed by the Contractor if applicable. In addition, the Contractor must be available to respond immediately to emergency outages related to issues with the electrical systems at ITS Node and Data Center locations. The Contractor must troubleshoot, isolate the source of failure, and provide replacement parts and resolution to the outages as soon as possible to restore services.
