The City of Missoula operates a public water supply system and a wastewater collection and treatment system. These systems are controlled and operated by complex SCADA systems. The primary objective of this procurement process is to select a Contractor to assist with replacement of several PLCs that operate key portions of the City's water system. Each PLC replacement will also include replacement of the chassis, all input/output modules and power supplies. The water system has 87 different sites (wells, boosters, tanks and Pressure Reducing Valves) most of which have a legacy Rockwell 500 series PLC that needs to be replaced over the next 5-10 years. The initial project planned for this year by the City is to replace the following PLC's: o Two master PLC's at the City's operations center Phantom Hills standalone water system o Skyview Tank/Booster Site o Haugan Well Site o North Reservoir Tank/Booster site Questions Submitted by: August 15, 2025 Questions can be submitted to Michelle Blackmon (publicworks@ci.missoula.mt.us) by the deadline Qualifications: A staff of no less than 3 trained technicians Technicians shall be Allen Bradley certified trained programmers Staffed office within 200 miles of Missoula, preferably located in Montana Contractor shall be licensed contractor in the State of Montana
