Renovation of a parking garage in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
No site visit will be scheduled as the site is publicly accessible. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 2/23/2026 12:00:00 AM (ET) The Parking Deck Capital Improvement Project (CIP) - Year I includes; comprehensive structural, waterproofing, and safety improvements at four (4) municipal parking decks: Sumter Street, Lady Street, Arsenal Hill, and Taylor Street. The scope of work includes concrete spall repairs; joint sealant and expansion joint replacements; installation of traffic coating systems; stall striping and numbering; repainting of traffic markings; and other related structural and surface improvements necessary to extend the service life of the facilities. Construction activities will be carefully phased to allow for maximum continued public access and use of each parking deck throughout the duration of the project. The Parking Deck CIP - Year I will be funded entirely with City funds. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject the qualifications of any bonding company submitted by the Contractor Each garage project must be completed before starting new garage. Further details can be found in the attached specs and plans. Work is at four different municipal parking decks. Work includes, but is not limited to: Concrete Spall repairs (Shallow, deep, vertical/overhead) Joint sealant and expansion joint replacement Structural repairs to curbs, stairs, and steel decking Traffic coating installation Related surface preparation and waterproofing Phasing and protection of the public and property Coordination with ongoing deck operations and special events Stall striping and numbering, repainting of traffic markings
