Renovation of a residential development in Hurst, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Tarrant County Community Development Project - 229 Arthur Drive White Settlement - The water department is to be called to turn on and/or off the water supply. The City will not allow the contractor or plumber to do this. You must call the water department at 817-246-4971. The response time is usually within ten (10) minutes. Please make sure the water department is aware that you are working on a County Rehabilitation Project so the owner will not be charged. If the owner wants any extra work that is not on the work write-up, please contact the Rehabilitation Specialist or have the owner contact him to discuss the need for a change order. Repair and Prepare Walls and Ceiling for Painting - This means the contractor will repair all cracks, properly fill and/or tape and bed holes and re-texture (matching repaired area to other walls or ceilings in the room) to remove all evidence of repair before painting. Gas pressure Test - This should be bid at approximately three hours of plumbing time to complete the gas test. If the plumber exceeds the three hours and has not contacted the Housing Rehabilitation Specialist about the possibility of extra costs, then the contractor will absorb the plumber's extra costs No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual bid date. Tarrant County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
