Site work for a civil project in Hamilton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: Southwest Regional Water District; 3640 Old Oxford Road; Hamilton, OH 45013 SWRWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Contact Neil Bond if you have questions regarding the project. Bidders should address all questions to Neil Bond at the District, 513-863-0828 ext-230, bondn@swwater.org. The project is described as follows: Provide labor, material, and equipment to remove existing BS4B-2 pump, motor, piping, and other electrical/instruments. Then install the new pump and motor along with any necessary piping, electrical/instrumentation needed for the new pump/motor, and other required modifications as per the project specifications located at 3001 Hamilton-Scipio Road in Ross Township; Butler County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the ORC. Such bid guaranty shall be in the form of either a 100% bond or a cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to SWRWD in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best base bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost, which is $80,000.00. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project. The work of this contract comprises the general construction for the installation of extensions and improvements to the existing water system, owned and operated by the Southwest Regional Water District, Hamilton, Ohio, in accordance with the plans, specifications and bid proposal forms. B. Contractor shall furnish and install, test and place into operation the improvements and related appurtenances necessary to provide a complete and operational system in accordance with the design indicated by the plans, specifications and contract documents. C. The project covered by these plans and specifications is composed of one (1) contract division of work to be completed on a furnish-and-install basis, as follows: The work in general to be carried out under the separate contract divisions is as described above and set forth in the "Special Conditions". D. Project Description: Provide all labor, material and equipment to rehabilitate the #3 Well in the North Plant as per the project specifications. The REPLACE PUMP #2 IN BOOSTER STATION BS-4B JOB #22304-BS4B-2 project is a performance-based type project.
