Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kings Park, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 59,100-square-foot, one-story above grade parking garage; for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; service station / car wash facility; parking garage; and parking garage.
Project No. KPSD2401 New Bus Garage and Transportation Facility - Contract E1 and Contract E2. New Bus Garage and Transportation Facility including Site Improvements and New EV Charging Station and Existing Bus Garage Demolition. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Site improvements including asphalt resurfacing, concrete walks, concrete curbs, bollards, and fencing. 2. New On-Site Sanitary system. 3. New Retaining Wall. 4. Traffic Signage. 5. Drainage structures including catch basins, manholes, drywells and the associated piping. 6. Vault and Concrete Pad as for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure equipment. 7. Installation of gated chain link fence surrounding the new electrical service equipment, including ground work preparation for pea gravel. 8. Installation of bollards for protection of newly installed electric vehicle charging stations. 9. Project closeout submittals. specific E1 and E2 Contract Scope:- The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Provide, install, maintain, and repair, if necessary, temporary power and light throughout the site and to the Owner/Architect/Engineer's field office. Temporary power shall be provided at location(s) selected by the Architect/Engineer based on input by the General Contractor. 2. Arrange for and install primary electric service. 3. Main secondary feeders, power distribution, and instrumentation control wiring. Provide, mount, and install electrical conduit, wire, fittings, boxes, panels, and electrical accessories 4. All clearing, excavation, filling, and backfilling associated with the installation of underground conduit, duct bank, or wiring. 5. Motor control centers, local control stations, transfer switches, power distribution panels, breakers, lights, and switches. 6. Furnish, install and power primary flow elements, transmitters, flow recorders and install interconnecting wiring where said devices are to be provided as work of Contract E. Modify and relocate components of the existing fuel station including vent piping, control panel (found in the existing bus garage) and underground control lines. 8. Removal of existing PSEG electrical service to the existing bus garage. 9. Installation of new electrical service including conduit, feeders, manholes, PSEG Transformer with associated vault, new electrical service equipment lineup and utility metering equipment. 10. Refeeding of existing bus garage from new electrical service. Provide temporary power as required to maintain facility operations as per electrical phasing on the electric vehicle infrastructure drawings. 11. Installation of new EV chargers to support the electrified bus fleet, including all associated conduit, sire, handholes, software cloud plans, power management software, etc. 12. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids.
