Renovation of a municipal facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work of this project consists of renovation of the City of La Crosse utilities department, located on the 5th floor of the La Crosse City Hall Building. Construction Work includes but is not limited to the following: selective demolition; miscellaneous rough carpentry; architectural woodwork; firestopping and joint sealants; hollow metal doors and frames; wood doors; door hardware; glazing; metal wall framing; gypsum board; extruded aluminum partition gap closures; resilient flooring and base; acoustical panel ceilings and grid; tile carpeting; roller window shades; pleated window shades; mechanical; electrical; and data/communications work. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by January 5 th, 2026.
