The contractor shall perform horizontal jack and bores to install ductile iron pipe and directional bores to install restrained joint ductile iron pipe, HDPE pipe, and fusible PVC pipe. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools and equipment to perform bores and fuse HDPE pipe. The contractor is responsible for providing the steel encasement pipe for the horizontal jack and bores. Madison County will provide the carrier pipe, gaskets, spacers and seals. The work shall be performed on an "as-needed" basis. The contract is an indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract. Madison County does not commit to any minimum amount of work being performed under the contract. The total contract value shall not exceed $100,000. The contract period of performance is two years. The contract will be terminated when the total contract value has been reached or the period of performance has expired, whichever occurs first.
