Duration: 267 Calendar Days from date of Initial Job Conference additional bid open note: Or call in (audio only) +1 267-332-8737,,85751041# United States, Philadelphia Phone Conference ID: 857 510 41# The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. However, BDISBO did not set SDB and/or VBE participation goals for those procurements that are less than the $600,000 threshold required to set either goal. In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Capital Programs. Bidders now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders section regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise Participation for further information. The Goals for each Prime Contract is as follows: SDB AND VBE GOALS .4 Electrical Construction ALL BASE BIDS (#1) SDB = 14% VBE = 3% The Work of this Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following. Detailed requirements of the Work are described in the pertinent specification Sections and/or shown on the Drawings. Electrical Construction (.4) Contract: 1. Provide a new, addressable fire alarm system throughout the facility. 2. Provide new detection, initiating and audio/visual (horn/strobe) notification devices. Provide monitor and control modules and relays to interface with other existing to remain systems including, but not limited to, sprinkler, fire suppression, HVAC, elevator control, and access control. 3. Provide a new fire alarm control panel, a new fire alarm annunciator panel, and new notification appliance circuit (NAC) power supply panels. 4. Provide a new cellular communicator to connect the new fire alarm system with the Client Agency's contracted Central Station monitoring company. 5. Disconnect and remove existing devices, panels, power supplies, and equipment, unless specifically notes otherwise. Disconnect and remove all existing low voltage fire alarm system cables. Disconnect and remove existing surface raceway, surface boxes, and mounting hardware. Patch holes in existing finished surfaces or provide cover plates. 6. Provide new low voltage fire alarm power and control cables, where required, to power new fire alarm initiating devices, interface modules, and notification appliances. Provide new raceway, pathways, boxes, and appurtenances for devices or panels in areas without suitable existing raceway and pathways. 7. Connect new fire alarm control panels and NAC panels to existing 120VAC power distribution panels. Provide new 120VAC circuits at new fire alarm panel and power supply locations. 8. Provide testing by the facility's existing elevator maintenance contractor of all the interfaces with the upgraded fire alarm system. 9. Provide testing by the facility's existing HVAC controls contractor of all the interfaces with the upgraded fire alarm system. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
