The project includes bank excavation and backfill with articulated concrete block, aggregate, rip-rap and boulders; construction of a rockery retaining wall on each side of the ramp; construction/installation of post and pole fence; revegetation of disturbed areas. The Contractor will be responsible for site safety and protection of public from hazards at all times during construction. Mexican Dam Portage Project Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Mexican Dam Portage Project - a Federally Funded Project which includes but is not limited to the construction of a pedestrian boat ramp along the Carson River upstream of the Mexican Dam for egress of small non-motorized watercraft (kayaks, small rafts, canoes and paddleboards) to enable safe portage around the dam.
