Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The project involves the Carson High School Varsity Softball Canopy, where the existing open canopy over the main bleachers will be removed and replaced with a new 31 ft x 31 ft solid roof canopy, to be installed in approximately the same location. The owner will provide the canopy structure. The contractor must completely remove the existing canopy, including poles and footings, excavate and install new footings for the provided canopy structure according to improvement plans, and erect the new canopy according to the manufacturer's instructions. The work also includes removal and replacement of concrete walkways affected by demolition and installation of new posts/foundations. There is no electrical or plumbing work in the scope of this project. Instructions to bidders: All prime contractors are required to attend a mandatory pre-proposal conference/job walk meeting at Carson High School to be eligible to submit a bid. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked for the project and received no later than the specified bid deadline. Bidders must be properly licensed with appropriate limits and classes, qualified to bid on public works projects in Nevada, and have the required bonding and insurance coverage. CCSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the bid deemed in its best interest, in accordance with NRS.
