The work includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Startup participation for the various equipment and systems of the project and provide complete service to troubleshoot and assist manufacturer service representatives in obtaining a completely functional installation. 2. Demolition and removals as shown, 3. New rooftop units, support, and associated equipment. 4. New exhaust fans, supports, and associated equipment. 5. New grilles, registers, ductwork, supports and accessories. 6. Power distribution wiring. Provide, mount, and install electrical conduit, wire, fittings, boxes, panels, and electrical accessories. 7. Electrical connections (final termination) to all equipment. 8. New natural gas piping, equipment, and meter. Coordination with local utility. 9. Structural supports and framing. 10. Testing and balancing of systems. 11. Project closeout submittals. Question Deadline 09/05/2025 To be given consideration, questions must be received in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Bidder's deposit will be refunded if the set is returned to REV in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Non-bidders shall receive partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the amount of the deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the documents if the set is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications that must be enclosed in sealed opaque envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: "PURCHASING AGENT, SYOSSET CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT", clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: "GYMNASIUM HVAC REPLACEMENTS AT VILLAGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOOL AND AP WILLITS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" "OPENING DATE: SEPTEMBER 16, 2025". Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the "SYOSSET CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT", in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
