The County (Putnam County BOCC or the County) is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for Cast In Place Concrete. BID BOND - Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the COUNTY for five percent(5%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the COUNTY will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the Bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the payment BOND and the performance BOND have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. Attorneys-in-fact who sign BID BONDS, payment BONDS or performance BONDS must file with each BOND acurrent certified copy of their power of attorney. The Contractor Hereby Represents and Warrants That It Has and Will Continue to Maintain All Licenses and Approvals Required to Conduct Its Business, and All Personnel Will Maintain Licensures Indicated in the Proposal, And That It Will at All Times Conduct Its Business Activities in a Reputable Manner. The Contractor Agrees That It Will Abide by All Laws, Rules and Regulations in Performance of the Agreement If awarded, the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the County based on the solicitation specifications and the results. Putnam County BOCC has the option and reserves the right to extend the contract beyond the initial contract term of October 14, 2025 - October 13, 2026 for three (3) additional one (1) year periods by mutual consent of the parties. The Bid Award in contingent upon acceptance and approval by the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners of the recommended Intent to Award. The recommendation of the Intent to Award is scheduled to be presented at the board meeting on October 14, 2025.
