The Town of Lakeville, Massachusetts is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for HVAC and Weatherization Improvements. Work includes furnishing labor and materials necessary for the installation of heat pumps, thermostat replacements, insulation repair, weather stripping, and all work incidental thereto. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject in whole or in part, any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. 8 Montgomery Street and 28 Precinct Street, both in Lakeville, MA, The work consists of furnishing labor and materials necessary for the installation of heat pumps, thermostat replacements, insulation repair, and weather stripping, and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications attached hereto. Work will take place at the Lakeville Animal Shelter and Loon Pond Lodge, located at 8 Montgomery Street and 28 Precinct Street, respectively, both in Lakeville, MA. The Project has an estimated contract value of $100,000. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. Question Deadline 08/28/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. All information given to bidders other than by means of the plans, specifications, or by addenda, as described below, is given informally and shall not be used as the basis of a claim against the Owner. Every request for such interpretation should be in sent in writing via email to esurette@lakevillema.org. Requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to perform all work required for the project known as the HVAC and Weatherization Improvements Project, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all related Drawings and Specifications. The said Documents, Specifications, Drawings and any supplemental general conditions are incorporated herein by reference and are made a part of this Agreement.
