This demolition package will consist of the removal of all structures, debris pavement and any other features on site to promote the establishment of vegetation on fourteen (14) properties within the Village of Glen Allen, Missouri. Hazardous material inspection of the structures to be demolished has already occurred; reports are available to bidders. Asbestos was found in two (2) properties and Lead Based Paint was found in one (1) property. The County is bidding demolition and hazardous materials removal together. Question Deadline 08/29/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer, Name of PE and/or EIT with Smith & Company, in writing Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The demolition contractor must be licensed for hazardous materials removal or must partner/subcontract with a licensed hazardous materials abatement and removal contractor. After the removal of the hazardous materials by the licensed contractor or subcontractor, demolition of the structure may occur. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Sponsor hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non- discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
