Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of installing a signature multi-modal facility along Broad Street connecting improvements installed within Downtown to the Alum Creek Trail. The project will include a separated bike lane configuration with the bike lanes behind a relocated curbline on the south side of East Broad Street from Washington Avenue to the Alum Creek Trail. Multiple traffic signals will either be impacted or fully replaced. The contract will begin with preliminary engineering (PE) to determine the alignment to be advanced to detailed design, the extent of landscaping improvements, drainage solutions, stormwater control practices, structural options at bridge crossings, intersection configuration, and impacts or modifications to both street lighting and traffic signals Send questions to: capitalprojects@columbus.gov Subject: Questions for Bikeway - Broad Street Urban Trail - Washington Ave to Alum Creek Trail.
