Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes: the construction of a new pedestrian bridge Brush Creek between US 71 Highway and the new Paseo Boulevard and modification of existing pedestrian trail improvements to connect to the new bridge approaches. Project commences south of Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard, crossing Brush Creek and terminating near the existing MLK Park's parking lot. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Kansas City, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 0% . Attendance at the pre-Bid conference is encouraged but not required for all Bidders on this Project. Question Deadline 10/01/2025
