Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project consists of construction of concrete cable supported pedestrian bridge and promenade gateway in accordance with Drawing Nos. 1-3302 and 1-3472 at the newly completed Wilmington Waterfront Promenade. Work includes but is not limited to installation of prestressed concrete pile foundations, retaining wall, architectural features and finishes, site demolition and removals, grading, surcharge, landscaping, hardscaping, construction of a restroom, lighting, striping, signage, parking lots, and play areas. As of February 23, 2026, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to begin later in 2026. 1. Contract Time: 900 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (Section 00060.1.3) 3. Engineer's Estimate: $66 Million - $73 Million 4. Liquidated Damage: $8,000 per calendar day (Section 00060.1.4) Project requirements: SBE (Proprietary) 16%, VSBE (Harbor) 4% Please note that this project will include requirements mandated by the Port of Los Angeles Small Business Development Program aimed at increasing participation of small businesses and very small businesses in construction contracts. At time of bid, the SBE and VSBE participation levels shall be based on the percentage of total contract amount (including the Allowance Items) to be paid to SBE and VSBE subcontractors and suppliers.
