Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Arvada, Colorado. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Demolition, removal, and proper disposal of existing pool structure including concrete decking. Capping of existing mechanical systems and utilities in place for potential reuse in the future. Site modification including fencing, grading, landscaping, and adjustments to other site features. Site restoration, including grading, safety measures, and erosion control, must be completed in accordance with included plans, specifications, and other applicable regulations and standards. Protection of critical structural elements and utilities related to the existing Fitness Club that is designated to remain, and prevention of impacts to the use and operation of the Fitness Club to the extent practicable is required. Existing fitness club to remain operational and accessible to the public during construction. Contractor access to the site and staging area will be provided via W. 94 th Avenue . Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must be licensed to do business in the State of Colorado. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the total Bid Price must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the sixty (60) day time period.
