Demolition, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the expansion of a primary / secondary education facility.

All Questions should be directed to Henry McKee of Orange County Schools. Project Overview Demolition of one (1) older greenhouse with the purchase and installation of one Greenhouse Structure, including heating, ventilation, temperature control, basket rails, shade cloth, and plumbing. Demolition Remove Existing 30' Blank x 40' Blank Greenhouse. Remove Block Wall supporting the greenhouse Remove 14' Blank x 24' Blank Wooden Pavilion over the Fire Pit area. The Fire Pit remains in place. Concrete Extend Concrete Pad to Meet the needs of the new Green house and extend all the way to the base of the Fire Pit. o Match Concrete needs with Engineered requirements for the Green house Required Greenhouse specifications 30 ft. Wide by 54 ft Long, with 8 ft. Sidewalls Galvanized steel frame consisting of: A) Column Post: B) Rectangle Tubing with welded base plates to be anchored to concrete C) Bows: 2" x 3" x 14 ga. Rectangle - 6' Spacing D) Trusses: 2" x 2" x 14 ga. Square, Spans 29' 3-1/4" Wide. E) Uprights: 1-3/8" Round F) Purlins 12 Runs 1-3/8" Round G) Ridge: Extruded Aluminum ridge cap allows easier installation & maintenance. H) Roof Glazing System: Extruded Aluminum roof channels spaced 6 ft. apart. I) Roof Glazing: 8mm clear twin wall no drip polycarbonate panels with a 10 yr. warranty. J) Eave Glazing System: Aluminum extruded eave channels allow for easier installation & maintenance. K) Eave Glazing: 8mm clear twin wall no drip polycarbonate with a 10 yr. warranty.
