The Town of Hillsborough is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for professional engineering services to perform design services for linear water and sewer projects. These include: Conduct preliminary evaluations, environmental review, geotechnical exploration, subsurface utility exploration, and surveying Prepare complete design plans, calculations and specifications Assist with easement acquisition and encroachments Prepare permit applications Bid and award service Construction administration and observation (if authorized) Record drawings completion and project closeout. Question Deadline 09/26/2025 at 3:00 PM ET - Direct Inquiries to: Engineering Services Manager Bryant Green, PE bryant.green@hillsboroughnc.gov. These services are solicited for projects located throughout the town's service area. Attached are exhibits of representative water and sewer line projects. The consulting firm selected for this project will be tasked with these designs as well as other similar projects throughout town. The selected firm will be assigned projects over a five-year period and will remain under contract with the town until the projects assigned are completed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
