The work will be carried out at the Centre Lebourgneuf, located at 720 rue des Rocailles in Quebec City, and will involve stabilising the shop's shelves. The Centre Lebourgneuf was built in 1978 and expanded in 1985. The RTC needs to carry out corrective work to stabilise the shelves in its shop. The work will mainly involve fabricating and installing steel frames under the shelves. The frames will be used to keep the shelves level, given that the slab is subject to movement caused by pyrite. The attached plans and specifications detail the project and form an integral part of the tender documents. A team of architectural and engineering professionals is also assisting the RTC with the project.
