The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bids for the Tom Bates Regional Sports Complex - Community Facility, Pickleball Courts and U8 Soccer Field project. Work includes but is not limited to: construction of a prefabricated community facility building with restrooms, a storage room and a multi-use room on cast-in drilled hole pile foundations, with retaining walls and pile cap slabs; installation of site improvements including EV charger stations, ADA ramps, stairs, walkway pavement, site lighting, site furnishings, biofiltration basins, and security fencing; construction of eight pickleball courts with associated fencing, equipment and bleachers; installation of natural turf U8 soccer field with related equipment and fencing; provide new utility connections including water, electric, and sanitary sewer with a prefabricated lift station, installation of irrigation and landscaping, restriping of the parking, including ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.
