The project consists of extending the Clark Kerr campus fire water system on East way Drive to Building 19. Stub-outs for future connections to Buildings 20 and 21 will also be installed. There are two bid alternatives included with this project. The first consists of extending the campus domestic water to Building 19, 20, and 21. The second consists of a driveway widening towards Building 20. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS: To allow the University to evaluate bidders, each bidder must submit with its bid, a Contractor's Special Statement of Experience. This Contractor's Special Statement of Experience must be provided on the Contractor's letterhead. If your firm provides inaccurate or incomplete information your firm will be found non-responsive. If your firm receives negative project references they may be found non-responsive. To be eligible for consideration of award,the Contractor's Special Statement of Experience must include: 1. Documentation that the bidder has successfully completed as prime contractor, the following: a. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable Fire Water System projects, with a construction value at award of $300,000 or greater, completed in the past five (5) years that demonstrate the bidder's ability to successfully complete the project with respect to project size, cost, use, complexity, etc. DO NOT include projects currently under construction. b. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties (Defined as Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties, California). 2. Include the following for each project: (a) project name, (b) project address,(c) owner's name, (d) contract value at award,(e) total Change Order value,(f) completion date, (g) Owner's Representative email address and current phone number and (h) describe how projects comparable to project being bid. 3. List all Fire Water System projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) the bidder has completed or currently working within the last5 years, if any.
