Renovation of an educational facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Rapid City Area Schools is seeking qualified architectural firms professionals for the planning and design of mechanical and architectural upgrades at Stevens High School . The current scope includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of Air Handling Units (AHUs) 17 and 18 Replacement of hot water pumps serving AHU 17/18 Replacement of the building's domestic hot water heater Refresh and modernization of classrooms along the art hallway Flooring replacement in the Freshmen lunchroom Redesign of the Freshmen wing commons to remove lockers and create a new student collaboration space Renovation of the orchestra area to define classroom space within the existing open room Additional minor renovations and finish restoration may be required depending on systems design and layout changes. The Board of Education will act upon the request for qualifications at a regular or special meeting of the Board of Education at the above address or other pre-designated place of meeting within thirty (30) days. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all RFPs and to waive any and all informalities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
