Los Angeles Engineering, Inc. (LAE) is requesting sub-bids / quotes from qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified DBE's, DVBE's, UDBE's, MBE's, WBE's, SBE's and OBE's. Subcontractors must be licensed in accordance with California License Laws and must also meet the project insurance requirements as well as the minimum requirements of LAE. In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 4108 amended January 1, 1992, all subcontracts will be awarded on LAE's standard subcontract form and will be requirement to provide a Payment and Performance Bond from a T-listed surety for any subcontract agreements in excess of $100,000. We will pay bond premium up to 1.5% of the bid amount. A copy of our standard subcontract form can be obtained by contacting the Estimator listed above. Los Angeles Engineering, Inc. will not include any Subcontractor's proposal as an attachment to our subcontract agreement.
