The San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the provision of multi-disciplinary professional engineering services for the evaluation of selected areas within the Water Reclamation Plant (WRP). In order to best manage all of the Department's assets, the Department seeks thoroughly-evaluated answers to the two (2) questions noted at the end of Attachment A. Proposed Professional Engineer in Responsible Charge shall be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and shall have a minimum of at least five (5) years of experience as a Professional Engineer working on municipal wastewater infrastructure, whether under the employ of the RESPONDENT or any other employer. The Department will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an online confirmation number with a time stamp form the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. The City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department will not accept a bid nor will it contract or subcontract without proof of the contractor or subcontractor's current registration to perform public works pursuant to section 1725.5.
