Work will include site preparation, grading, and drainage improvements, installation of an ADA-compliant handicap ramp, and replacement/leveling of sidewalk and curb sections in front of the new gym. The goal is a durable, low-maintenance parking facility and safe, accessible pedestrian access for students and visitors. Parking Lot Removal & Concrete/Asphalt Installation Demolition and removal of existing asphalt pavement, including haul-off and disposal. Site grading and leveling to ensure proper drainage away from buildings and toward approved stormwater facilities. Installation of base material (compacted aggregate) and necessary sub-base to support heavy vehicle loads. Placement of new reinforced Concrete/Asphalt (minimum specified thickness; include reinforcement design). Jointing and finishing to control cracking and provide a uniform driving surface.
