Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified by the Department in the Highway-construction or Highway-bike Paths Category to Bid on the Above Project. an Award Will Not Be Made to a Contractor Who is Not Pre-qualified by the Department Prior to the Opening of Proposals. MADOT: Independence Greenway Extension 609211-132091, TAP/CMQ-0034(027)X The work under this Contract consists of the construction of the Independence Greenway Extension in the City of Peabody. The project is approximately 1.3 miles in length. The work included in this project will consist of clearing and grubbing; paving; installing wood rail fence; installing granite curb, pedestrian curb ramps and sidewalks; installing drainage structures; installing new catch basins; installing 2 precast concrete culverts; furnishing and installing traffic signals, signs and pavement markings; placing loam and seed; planting trees and shrubs; landscape amenities; constructing a timber bridge boardwalk; and other incidental items of work listed in the proposal.
