Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hope, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; fitness / recreation center; playground / park / athletic field; swimming pool; and playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Hope, AR is constructing a new Aquatic and Recreation facility which will include an entrance lobby, offices, meeting rooms, party rooms, sound reinforcement and scoreboards for basketball, pickleball, and an eight lane pool with other outside entertainment areas including a pool and splashpad. As such The City is seeking qualifications from audiovisual design and implementation firms to provide design and/or engineering services THE CITY expects to select an A/V Firm from those qualified through this RFQ process to work with THE CITY and coordinate with the Architect and Contractor on the design and cabling for data, voice, high capacity Wi-Fi, security wiring and access controls, a room reservation system, scoreboard visual and audio for pool meets and audio visual equipment throughout to support THE CITY meeting and other needs. The full scope of services requested from qualified A/V Firms has not been pre-determined and the A/V Design Criteria outlined in Section VI of this RFQ could be altered significantly in collaboration with the selected A/V Firm. THE CITY expects the selected A/V Firm's services to commence in September 2025 and be completed by the end of December2025. Deadline for Written Questions September 8, 2025 by 5:00pmTHE CITY Responses to Questions Provided September 10,2025 Prospective A/V Firms may submit questions regarding this RFQ by email to clay@bildarchitects.com and stone.j@hsassoc.com. The SOQ shall include, at a minimum, the following: 1. A cover letter, summarizing the A/V Firm's key understanding of the proposed design services, key qualifications, and the A/V FIRM's relevant contact information, including email address, mailing address and phone number(s). 2. The composition of the A/V Firm's team, the key team member's role and their relevant experience. Please identify all relevant key consultants, including subcontractors, and other disciplines as necessary, and please provide a resume for each of these key consultants. 3. A description of A/V FIRM's recent, relative project work and A/V experience including, but not limited to, the following: a. Cabling for data, voice, and other low voltage applications b. High-Capacity Wi-Fi c. Security Wiring & Control(Key Card Access to office space integrated with Elevator Access) d. Scoreboard Integration and Audio e. Audio/Visual systems for large meetings that include remote locations f. Meeting Room Reservation Systems g. Identifying and Documenting Equipment & Unique Hardware Specifications h. Experience with coordinating projects that include third-party coordination (e.g. Building Management, Furniture Dealer/Designer/Installer, Architect, Internet Service Providers, etc.)i. Name and title of the client's project manager j. Project references and client contact information. 4. Recommended approach to meeting and/or altering the A/V Design Criteria (Section VI), including a description of why this approach will provide a best value solution for THE CITY. Submission of a SOQ by a proposing A/V Firm shall be deemed a representation that the A/V Firm: a. Has carefully read and fully understands the information provided by THE CITY as part of this RFQ. b. Understands and acknowledges that THE CITY expects the selected A/V Firm to enter into an agreement with THE CITY. c. Represents that all information submitted is true and correct ;d. Did not, in any way, collude, conspire to agree, directly or indirectly, with any person, firm, corporation or other A/V Firm in regard to this RFQ; and, e. Acknowledges that THE CITY has the right to make any inquiry it deems appropriate to substantiate or supplement information as necessary. No request for modification of a RFQ shall be considered after submission on the grounds that a A/V Firm was not fully informed about any fact or condition. VI. A/V Design Criteria a. 1,446 SF Double-height Entrance Lobby b. (2) Two full size 94'x50' basketball courts with capability for striping for (2) two pickleball courts and (1) one volleyball court .Gym Side is approximately 16,000SF c. Elevated (3) three lane walking/running track. d. 25 Yard (8) eight lane competition interior lap pool with Interior ADA accessible 540 SF Therapy pool. Pool side is approximately 12,500 SF. e. Exterior 2,640 SF Splash Pad/Pool. f. (2) party rooms approximately300 SF each. g. (3) three offices approximately 200 SF each. h. Break/Meeting Room approximately 600 SF. THE CITY reserves the right notto convene interviews or discussions, and to make an award onthe basis of initial SOQs received.
