You are invited to submit a bid for the 575 Dorset St. Fire Station #1 Building Sprinkler Installation in the City of South Burlington. The proposed feasibility study and building sprinkler design documents shall be reviewed and approved by the State of Vermont as they have the authority to require construction documents for all fire protection systems. Following approval of the feasibility study, the project will include the installation of all sprinkler system components. Schedule All work will be scheduled and coordinated with the Facilities Superintendent and Fire Department personnel. The facility is functional on a 7-day, 24-hour basis with some functions operating on a normal 8 hour 5 day week. The selected Contractor shall commence the work described under this Request for Bids on the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the same within 120 calendar days from the date of the Notice To Proceed, unless the period for completion is extended by contract change order, or unless this agreement is sooner terminated in accordance with Section 20 or 21 of the General Conditions. Work may be performed between 7:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.
